Hearken features the King James Version (KJV), a beloved and widely-used public domain translation. The complete audio is bundled with the app — no streaming or downloads required.
Does Hearken work offline?
Yes — completely. All audio is included in the app. No internet connection is needed to listen.
How do I sync to my Apple Watch?
Open the Watch Sync tab on your iPhone and tap "Download All" or select individual books. Chapters transfer to your Watch over Bluetooth/WiFi. Once synced, you can listen on your Watch without your iPhone.
Does my progress sync between iPhone and Apple Watch?
Yes. Listening progress syncs automatically between your iPhone and Watch whenever they're connected. Pick up right where you left off on either device.
Can I change the playback speed?
Yes — tap the speed selector on the Now Playing screen. Options are 0.75×, 1×, 1.25×, and 1.5×.
How does the sleep timer work?
Tap the moon icon on the Now Playing screen and choose 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Playback will stop automatically when the timer expires.
Does Hearken work on iPad?
Yes. Hearken has a full iPad layout with a sidebar navigation and split-view for comfortable browsing on larger screens. It also supports all iPad orientations.
How do I reset my progress?
Go to Settings → Reset All Progress. This will clear all chapter completion data. This action cannot be undone.
Can I get a refund?
Hearken is sold through the Apple App Store. Refund requests are handled by Apple — visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
