1. What We Collect
Nothing. Hearken does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind.
2. How the App Works
Hearken plays audio Bible chapters stored locally on your device. All listening progress, bookmarks, and settings are stored on-device using SwiftData. If you use the Apple Watch companion app, progress syncs between your iPhone and Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework — this stays on your local network between your devices.
3. No Network Connections
Hearken does not connect to the internet during normal use. Audio files are bundled with the app. Progress sync between iPhone and Apple Watch happens over Bluetooth/WiFi Direct — no cloud servers are involved.
4. No Third-Party SDKs
Hearken contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking libraries of any kind. It is a self-contained native app built with SwiftUI.
5. Purchase & Payment
Hearken is sold through the Apple App Store. Your payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle purchases.
6. Children's Privacy
Hearken is suitable for all ages. We do not collect any information from any user, including children.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
